We will help plant Butterfly nectar
plants on 2 acres of land and discover the joy in community
service.
EVENTS
GOODNESS GARDEN
The Goodness Garden is located on the campus of Pacific Grove High School in Pacific Grove, CA.
It is a place designed to help participants come together and discover what unity and community mean. Where TOGETHER we design the perfect garden that grows not only veggies and beautiful flowers, it also grows hearts and minds. Come join us to plant "seeds to success" in the joy of life.
We meet every other Saturday from 10:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. as long as weather allows through out the school year. (Summer time TBA)
The VIRTUAL "CULTURAL EXPERIENCE" begins in the second week of September. Preparing for the next journey will open doors, open eyes, and open hearts.
Meeting days and time will be announced after the INFORMATIONAL MEETING - Date to be announced. Meetings will focus on learning the difference between our world and the greater world abroad. Preparing for what we would not expect and that which can only be learned through an opportunity such as this.
As part of this program, we will meet with our VIRTUAL CLASS with Nicaragua, via Zoom class room focusing on LEADERSHIP and sustainability with Nicaragua, four times this school year. We will work together on building projects and friendship as well as teaching them sustainability of our current 13 projects we already have there.
